I was absolutely delighted to receive this award a few weeks ago. When we were initially notified about our nomination for the Greater London Enterprise Awards run by SME News, I was naturally excited, but as time passed and things went quiet, I wondered what had happened. Then, completely out of the blue, an email landed in my inbox with the incredible news that we’d actually won.
This recognition means a great deal to me personally. I pour my heart and soul into creating the very best photography workshops and tours that I possibly can, constantly striving to deliver exceptional experiences for every participant. It’s not just about teaching technical skills or visiting beautiful locations – it’s about creating meaningful, transformative experiences that stay with people long after they return home – whilst offering the best value for my guests.
What makes this award particularly special is that it acknowledges the values that underpin everything we do. Conservation and environmental responsibility aren’t just buzzwords for us – they’re fundamental principles woven into the fabric of every workshop and tour we run. From the destinations we choose and how we interact with them, to the way we educate participants about protecting the natural world, sustainability remains at the core of our mission.
I hope this award demonstrates to our past, present, and future participants just how committed we are to excellence, and how much thought, care, and dedication goes into every single experience we create.
